Budget Bathroom Makeover - Before & After!

Making Spaces

Hello Reader,

Back with another installment of this Before & After series! Over the years, I've done many transformations - from full remodels to little updates. Sometimes, I had bigger budgets and sometimes just shoestrings...

Either way, improving a space feels so good!

Today, I'm sharing a bathroom makeover that was on the outset a huge challenge - very dark, awkward shape and I had practically no budget and pressed for time as I was preparing to sell.

After a solid weekend's worth of work, the end results blew my mind! Not because it would win any design awards but because it proved how affordable, little details can go a looooooong way!

Check it out and tell me what you think!

BEFORE:

This space and I were not friends. It was so dark and sad and awkward. I struggled with where to even start.

Check out the article below for all the details and sources but these were the highlights:

  • Painted walls a true, neutral white (Chantilly Lace)
  • Swapped out light fixture for high contrast modern option
  • Changed cabinet hardware
  • Painted tile floors (used a kit!)
  • Replaced faucet with a matte modern set
  • Framed out existing builder grade mirror
  • Added wall shelves & hooks

AFTER

While this bathroom would've love a full remodel, I think this makeover made it a much happier, fresher space. ๐Ÿ–ค
