Hello Reader,
Ooh, it's been awhile. But I'm excited to share some new projects & happenings! Read to end for other new things ๐
Just in time for fall, I've given my front door a little upgrade. This is an example of a low budget, high impact! I'd love to hear what you think.
Front Door: After
Can you see Pete? ๐ This front porch has evolved little by little. Nothing major but it feels more like me. Which is enough to make me happy. ๐ค
Front Door Before:
Over two years:
- Removed storm door, this was just too damn heavy
- Took down wall hanging on brick the seller left behind.
- Said goodbye to the old blinds and use taller plants for more privacy
- Painted the door Tricorn Black just about as fast as I could
- Later went back and painted the trim - shouldโve done that in the first place
- Layered rugs to keep it proportional and a soccer cleat drop off
- Spray painted metal planters black for dramatic effect and get some extra life out of them
- Next step? Change up the outdoor lighting.
